Taiwan is the home-base for well-known global motorcycle companies and also one of the countries producing the most motorcycles and scooters.
According to a study conducted by Grand View Research, Inc shows that the global electric scooters market size is expected to reach US$41.98 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 7.7 percent over the forecast period, contributed by the increased demand for electric scooters.
Mr. Simon Wang, Executive Vice President of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) pointed out that Taiwan, with a small population of 23.5million, the domestic motorcycle market is even one of the top 10 largest worldwide.
The “Scooter Industry Online Showcase” was hosted on 5th November and organized by Taiwan Excellence, an international campaign to promote Taiwan’s superior products, featuring the latest scooter and parts from four award-winning Taiwanese companies.
