Taiwan is the home-base for well-known global motorcycle companies and also one of the countries producing the most motorcycles and scooters.

According to a study conducted by Grand View Research, Inc shows that the global electric scooters market size is expected to reach US$41.98 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 7.7 percent over the forecast period, contributed by the increased demand for electric scooters.

Mr. Simon Wang, Executive Vice President of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) pointed out that Taiwan, with a small population of 23.5million, the domestic motorcycle market is even one of the top 10 largest worldwide.

The “Scooter Industry Online Showcase” was hosted on 5th November and organized by Taiwan Excellence, an international campaign to promote Taiwan’s superior products, featuring the latest scooter and parts from four award-winning Taiwanese companies.

Aeon Motor is an exporter and manufacturer of ATVs, scooters and mini-bikes in Taiwan. They partnership with Gogoro and launched the new scooters that run on Gogoro’s  swappable batteries and charging infrastructure. Their Ai-3 series is designed with a double front-loaded space and a linked braking system to provide riders with greater convenience and safety. The scooter also comes equipped with AI smart assistance, making the motorcycle more user-friendly.

Giant Protech is an Automobiles & Motorcycles supplier in Taiwan, offering high quality titanium bolts, titanium screws, auto parts, accessories, equipment, hardware, metal products, forged wheel, tire valves. Their Two-Piece Patent Forged Wheel Rim is obtained national certification for the highest level in structure. It can reduce costs of development and stock by about 80%. This is better than one-piece rims which have fixed costs, can be applied to fewer types of motorcycle wheel rim and have limited selectivity.
