Malaysia’s most dynamic and innovative service provider, U Mobile, now has over two million registered subscribers.
Commenting on the significance of reaching this goal ahead of time, Dr. Kaizad Heerjee, CEO of U Mobile, said, “We are extremely proud of reaching this significant milestone. This achievement proves that our products and services are well received in the market. We would like to extend our thanks to our customers for their continuous support. Thank you for believing in us.”
U Mobile embarked on a rebranding exercise in early 2011 when Kaizad took reign of the telco. “We believe the basics like SMS, data and calls should be extremely affordable, which is one of the many reasons why U Mobile’s offerings appeal to consumers,”
With its own 3G network over 1900 sites in the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, Penang, Port Dickson and Negeri Sembilan, U Mobile provides 42Mbps fastest mobile broadband speed to its customer.
U Mobile’s efforts have been acknowledged and received ‘Most Promising Service Provider of the Year’ award at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards. It was also named the industry’s “Rising Star” at the PC.Com 12th Readers Choice Awards 2011.
