Kuala Lumpur-based Tapway Sdn. Bhd., a developer of Vision AI software solutions, and Tokyo-based Asteria Corporation have announced the launch of AIoT Suite, an integrated, one-stop solution platform combining Tapway’s SamurAI Vision AI software and Asteria’s Gravio no-code IoT software.
Offered on a subscription basis, the AIoT Suite enables businesses to automate tasks such as quality inspection on production lines, PPE compliance enforcement, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) monitoring at warehouses.
By leveraging Vision AI to capture data through cameras, the platform automates visual inspections by identifying issues in real-time. It triggers automated actions via IoT devices to ensure swift and efficient responses—all without the need for coding.
This innovative solution addresses labour shortages and enhances operational efficiency for companies across industries.
The Japanese version of the AIoT Suite was unveiled on 27 November in Tokyo, specifically targeting manufacturers in Japan. Its English version, launched in July, is already serving manufacturing companies across Southeast Asia and Japan.
Lim Chee How, CEO of Tapway, remarked: “Many manufacturers struggle to effectively analyse data from diverse systems and devices, or develop in-house AI models due to limited technical expertise and the high costs of maintaining dedicated monitoring staff. AIoT Suite helps them address these challenges on a single, unified platform.”
Yoichiro Hirano, President and CEO of Asteria, shared his enthusiasm: “I am thrilled to announce the Japanese version of AIoT Suite in collaboration with Tapway. With its proven success in Southeast Asia, I am confident that AIoT Suite will tackle countless challenges for users in the Japanese market and set a new benchmark for AI and IoT solutions.
“At Asteria, we are committed to working with Tapway to drive innovation and unlock the value of AI and IoT within the no-code and edge computing domains.”
The companies aim to achieve a sales target of 100 million yen for AIoT Suite within two years, focusing on Japan and other international markets.
AIoT Suite allows users to build AI inference models and seamlessly collect, integrate, and manage data from IoT devices and other systems. The software is available via Asteria’s Gravio product website at www.gravio.com/jp/aiotsuite.
