The TAIWAN EXPO is making its triumphant return to Malaysia, marking a significant comeback after the pandemic-induced hiatus. Commencing in just two days on August 24, the event will span three days at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

A showcase of 220 booths will be unveiled, spotlighting innovative and competitive products from a conglomerate of 170 Taiwanese enterprises. This spectacle will be accompanied by over 1,080 pre-arranged one-on-one business meetings, with the collective potential to yield US$48 million in business prospects.

In this year’s edition, the exhibition revolves around five prominent themes: Industry 4.0, Smart Medical, Halal, Circular Economy, and Intelligent Lifestyle. The event brims with product unveilings, high-stakes business negotiations, the second Taiwanese Halal food cooking contest, a Zumba fest, and captivating cultural performances. Access to this extravaganza is granted free of charge, thus forging an ideal avenue to explore potent business opportunities and uncover the many facets of Taiwan’s strengths.

The organiser, TAITRA, divulges that this year’s event will sprawl across two exhibition halls, curated to underscore Taiwan’s unassailable prowess in research and development.

The exhibition includes YouBike, a quintessential emblem of Taiwan’s foray into smart urbanism, now parading its evolved 2.0 iteration of electric-assisted bicycles. The Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion functions as a nexus, uniting healthcare institutions and medical beauty service providers led by the Taiwan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery chairman, all devoted to advancing a premium and wellness-centric way of life.

The Net Zero Pavilion stands as an homage to renewable energy, sustainable equipment, and ingenious urban living solutions, casting a visionary outlook on the cities of tomorrow. Keeping stride with the tide of artificial intelligence, the Digital Commerce Pavilion presents cutting-edge social platform community sharing systems, and innovative marvels like the ‘Smart Baby Bib,’ casting a spotlight on Taiwan’s adroitness in technological finesse.

The Taiwan Expo extravaganza will grace the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from August 24th to 26th, sprawling across the expansive Halls 1 and 2. Entrance is bestowed as a gesture of goodwill to all visitors, with the event doors welcoming enthusiasts from 10 AM to 6 PM.
