The State Government of Selangor’s Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre (STDCx), in conjunction with global low-code application development platform Mendix – a Siemens business, and leading Malaysian consultancy Orangeleaf Consulting, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance technological capabilities within Selangor’s industries.
This landmark agreement was formalized at the Hannover Messe 2024 trade show in Germany, the world’s largest industrial technology exhibition. The event brought together key players from the energy, digital, and mechanical and electrical engineering sectors to explore innovative solutions for future energy supply and manufacturing challenges.
The strategic partnership between STDCx, Orangeleaf Consulting, and Mendix aims to accelerate technological advancement through Mendix’s low-code platform, nurture local talent, and drive digital transformation initiatives within Selangor, Malaysia.
In tabling the 2024 Selangor State Budget in November 2023, chief minister Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari allocated RM13.85 million to elevate technical and vocational education in Selangor.
