In its inaugural year in Malaysia, the Product of the Year recently hosted Jury Day for experts to examine the products that were then streamlined for final voting by 2,000 consumers in a robust survey conducted by Nielsen Malaysia. Entries including FMCG brands, home appliances and even financial services make up the 17 categories going into research.
The Product of the Year winners will be announced on June 24 at the Malaysian Petroleum Club at Petronas Twin Towers.
Product of the Year, the leading international benchmark for innovation,and has been running across 42 countries over the past 26 years. It is not a creative, media, effectiveness, campaign or branding show.
It will be launched in Indonesia in 2015 and Singapore in 2016 by Product of the Year (POY) Asia Sdn Bhd.
