Singapore-based healthcare and lifestyle company, Perfect Nature, has achieved a significant milestone by securing S$1 million in seed funding for its subsidiary brand, Snuugo.

Snuugo is the pioneering smart wearable breast pump, designed and manufactured locally, aiming to redefine the breastfeeding experience for mothers by integrating technology for comfort, practicality, and convenience.

Led by prominent angel investors Peter Tan, founder of Fischer Tech Ltd, and Willy Koh, founder of Racer Technology Pte Ltd, this funding emphasizes Perfect Nature’s commitment to building a Singaporean brand and championing locally-made products. The company was founded by Justin Tan and Charles Lim, both fathers, driven by a vision to address the challenges faced by breastfeeding mothers and enhance their experience.

Snuugo stands out with its user-centric design, incorporating innovative features and ergonomic elements tailored to modern Asian mothers. The funding will be used for the development of prototypes, trials, and securing international patents. A significant portion of the funds will also be dedicated to optimizing the mobile application associated with the device.

The Snuugo mobile application offers a seamless user experience, automatically logging milk volume pumped and providing up to 28 rhythm and intensity settings for customized pumping sessions. Sustainability is a key focus, with the breast pump featuring Pump-to-Feed and Pump-to-Store systems, reducing the need for additional containers and minimizing wastage.

Perfect Nature is set to launch Snuugo in Singapore from 1 to 3 December at Babyland in Singapore Expo Hall 5. The company plans to expand into Southeast Asia in mid-2024 and subsequently enter the Chinese market. This innovative product marks the beginning of an ecosystem of nursing solutions, offering mothers flexibility and convenience throughout their breastfeeding journey.
