LitUp Network Singapore Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of OMS Group Sdn Bhd, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with International Gateway Company Ltd. This strategic partnership marks a pivotal step towards improving network connectivity infrastructure in Thailand and expanding the reach of both companies across the ASEAN region.
As part of OMS Group’s US$300 million investment in expanding its submarine cable systems and terrestrial infrastructure, this partnership will play a critical role in supporting the collaborative efforts outlined in the MoU.
The investment aims to address the growing demand for reliable, high-speed internet services across the region by developing advanced connectivity solutions.
Key initiatives of the MoU include:
- Network Connectivity Infrastructure: The companies will collaborate to build and deliver cutting-edge network infrastructure to meet the region’s increasing demand for fast and dependable internet services;
- Submarine Cable Landing Solutions: The partnership will establish and manage submarine cable landing stations, points of presence, and the associated infrastructure needed to deploy and maintain submarine cable systems; and
- Future Collaboration: Both parties have committed to working together on future digital infrastructure projects, leveraging their collective expertise and resources.

In addition to this partnership, LitUp Network and International Gateway Company are also collaborating on the Satun-Hatyai-Songkhla-Rayong cable system, a new subsea cable system that will strengthen Thailand’s digital infrastructure.
This project complements future systems in development, such as the Hatyai to Padang Besar and Hatyai to Bukit Kayu Hitam links.
This strategic alliance not only enhances the companies’ presence in Thailand but also aligns with their broader mission to expand throughout the ASEAN region.
