Home-grown digital agency, Integricity Interactive, garnered two wins at the Advertising+Marketing Magazine’s Agency of the Year (AOTY) 2012 awards show held in Kuala Lumpur recently.
The agency was lauded as this year’s Local Hero in the Digital Agency of the Year category, as well as scoring a Silver Award for Digital Agency of the Year, ousting not just local legends but also leading international counterparts.
“We were really not expecting to win,” said Integricity Interactive’s Managing Director Warren Tan. “In fact, we were elated just to receive news about being on the shortlist alongside some major industry players!”
“While client marketers may have recognised our agency as their Local Hero, I would like to personally hail my own local heroes: the individuals in Integricity who have given their all and sacrificed to make this journey possible,” he proclaimed.
According to Tan, this was Integricity Interactive’s first award nomination. “Although this may be a reward for all our hard work, we cannot be contented to rest on our laurels and bask in the glow of victory. If anything, these wins have fueled our hunger to gun for bigger things, be it for business or awards.”
As a full-service digital agency, Integricity Interactive combines creative, technology, strategy and marketing disciplines with the power of digital and social media, to build businesses and transform brands for clients, which include Citibank, GlaxoSmithKline, Hilton, Kimberly Clark, Samsung and Unilever.
Tan believes these wins will provide a higher profile for Integricity, in turn placing them in the running for greater business opportunities.
The Advertising+Marketing Magazine’s AOTY annual awards show is the only advertising agency awards show to be decided by client marketers themselves. This year’s jury of 16 client marketers included eminent personalities from various industries ranging from telecommunications to banking, pharmaceutical as well as fast-moving consumer goods.
