Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) Malaysia Sdn Bhd has unveiled Hoovers, a first-of-its-kind, premier global marketing portal, to meet the challenges of international and regional marketing needs of Malaysian firms.
Malaysian firms will be able to tap into D&B’s proprietary online database of more than 90 million companies, 100 million contacts and 900 industry segments worldwide. With an extensive global database in place, firms are now able to jump start their global marketing campaigns with a more accurate identification of revenue opportunities in more than 200 countries around the world.
Through a wide range of search criteria, local marketing professionals are able to identify prospective markets according to the annual sales revenue, employee size and industries of potential business partners. The multi-seat global marketing portal covers various industries including agriculture, mining, transportation, manufacturing, construction, wholesale, retail and services sectors.
Within Asia-Pacific, the global marketing portal contains more than 13 million contacts of key decision makers, manager and executive-titles in general management, information technology, finance, human resource, sales and marketing, procurement and operations.
A key feature of the online marketing portal, known as Family Tree, enables marketing professionals to identify revenue opportunities with other corporate family members of their existing clients. Designed to accelerate sales and marketing workflow, the Family Tree essentially bridges existing gaps in market information and powers a firm’s sales and marketing pipeline by forming corporate linkages between parent and subsidiary companies.
To mark the launch of Hoovers, D&B Malaysia will be providing free analytics to professional marketers to aid them in the execution of their marketing campaigns. The free analytics will include the total number of companies which are available for the prospecting based on the criteria defined by the marketers- employee size, sales revenue or industry.
