Minister of Communications YB Fahmi Fadzil visiting HLB’s financial advisory booth at the Ramadhan Bazaar at Dataran Putrajaya

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, Hong Leong Islamic Bank provided financial guidance to visitors at the Ramadhan Bazaar at Dataran Putrajaya through a dedicated financial advisory pop-up booth, empowering Malaysians with financial tools, services, and knowledge.

Partnering with national news agency BERNAMA, the Bank also spread warmth and positivity throughout the community by distributing 1000 food packets to visitors of the Ramadhan Bazaar at Dataran Putrajaya.

The CSR and community outreach initiative was also attended by Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications, Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, CEO of BERNAMA, and Datuk Dr. Md. Hamzah bin Md. Kassim, Chairman of HLISB.

Dafinah Ahmed Hilmi, CEO of HLISB commented on the impactful event, “We are humbled for the opportunity to give back and make a positive impact to the community through this partnership with BERNAMA.

“Ramadhan is not only a time of reflection and compassion but also for instilling good amalan in our daily lives, and this program shows what we can achieve when we come together and give back to the community.

“This concept of good deeds or good amalan is also integral to our personal development and transformation. We are dedicated to inspiring all Malaysians to integrate small yet prudent financial management practices into their lives, thereby establishing a robust financial footing for a brighter future.

“Through our financial advisory booth, we want to reach out to more communities, aiming to provide unwavering support to Malaysians throughout their financial journey.”

The Bank has a proud tradition of bringing financial knowledge and support to local communities, driven in large part by their pop-up branch concept which sees the Bank going on ground to meet with the public and dispense financial advisory services. Through these pop-ups, customers and the public can explore the Bank’s diverse range of products and services, aligning with the Bank’s customer-centric “Built Around You” brand promise.

To celebrate the Hari Raya festivities and in line with its “Amal” campaign concept, the Bank is encouraging its customers and all Malaysians to start practicing good financial habits, which will lead to them achieving financial success in the future.
