Taiwan Excellence will return with the fitting theme ‘Greener Together’ at ARCHIXDEX 2024, showcasing Taiwan’s sustainable living solutions and celebrating the spirit of ‘The Best Made in Taiwan.
Featuring 11 award-winning brands, it will showcase the green innovation DNA of Taiwan Excellence, ranging from environmentally and health-friendly coatings to innovative electrophoretic display solutions, smart ventilation systems, and more.
Two of the finest “Taiwan Excellence” companies, Yztek Co. Ltd. and Waterson Corp. shared details of their signature products prior to the exhibition.
Redefine Gas Stove Safety
The e+AutOff TY009 by Yztek Co. Ltd. is a universal stove control unit that can be easily retrofitted to existing gas stoves to turn them into timer stoves. Unattended stove is one of the most common sources of fire at home and the risks of forgetting to monitor a boiling pot has increased significantly as people become increasingly distracted by their gadgets.
e+AutOff TY009 can be installed in mere minutes and will automatically preset to 15-minute interval whenever the user turns on the gas. There is also a useful cooking timer that can be set from 1 to 99 minutes to precisely control the cooking time required. Simply use your gas stove as you have always done and have e+AutOff take care of your safety.
The device also emits a helpful beeping sound when your timer is up to help you better monitor your cooking. Powered by two AAA batteries, the TY009 consumes very little power and comes with low battery alert. e+AutOff also features a failsafe system that automatically lock the stove if the battery is depleted, as well as child-proof locking function that can further reduce the risk of accidents.
Innovative Investment Casting Door Hinges
Waterson Corp. is another featured manufacturer at this year’s Taiwan Excellence Pavilion. The company specializes in stainless steel investment casting with precision machining. Their Waterson Stainless Steel Closer Hinge system features a series of door closers and spring hinges that are tested to one million cycle to ensure longevity in professional and home settings.
The optional hold open feature enhances the ease of use and despite its robust built, the systems are unobtrusive and can be easily incorporated into any kitchen design. The highly finished surfaces give the industrial grade hinges a touch of class and the stainless-steel construction is easily weldable to offer outstanding flexibility in cabinet construction.
Furthermore, it takes less than 5lbs (2.27kg) of force to open and more than 5 seconds to close which complies with the American ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements.
