GoBarakah has emerged as the winner of the 2024 FIKRA ACE Accelerator, a program by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) to foster innovation in the Islamic Capital Market (ICM) through fintech solutions.
GoBarakah’s platform, a Shariah-compliant e-voucher system, facilitates the distribution of donations, CSR funds, and zakat to ensure 100% of contributions reach verified beneficiaries.
GoBarakah received a cash prize of RM50,000, while second and third place winners, Products2U and Koha Digital, took home RM30,000 and RM20,000, respectively.
The awards were presented during the SCxSC Fintech Summit 2024, where 25 startups participated in the FIKRA ACE Accelerator, with the top 10 finalists showcasing their innovations.
The FIKRA ACE Accelerator’s 8-week program included mentorship, market access support, and regulatory guidance, with partners like NEXEA, MDEC, and the Islamic Development Bank contributing to the cohort’s success.
