New Salesforce research reveals that 87% of Singapore’s C-suite executives are focused on generative AI. Of 221 leaders surveyed from large businesses, 48% reported having a clear generative AI strategy in place, while another 47% are in the process of developing one.
As businesses race to adopt AI, companies that delay risk falling behind. Generative AI is evolving from chatbots to autonomous AI agents, with the potential to become trusted digital colleagues.
Key drivers for generative AI adoption include:
- Cutting-edge technology adoption (43%)
- Staying competitive (42%)
- Delivering innovative customer and employee experiences (42%)
Despite enthusiasm, 95% of executives acknowledge barriers to adoption, including data accessibility (43%), lack of training (33%), incomplete data for AI models (31%), and governance concerns (31%).
Salesforce’s Einstein platform is tackling these challenges by ensuring secure, efficient AI integration for businesses, with innovations like the Einstein Trust Layer safeguarding data privacy.
Sujith Abraham, Senior Vice President and GM, ASEAN at Salesforce, emphasized the importance of unifying data to unlock AI’s full potential: “Without building a cohesive view of the customer, generative AI initiatives will fall short.”
