CTOS, the nation’s leading credit reporting agency, is quickly reaching the milestone of one million subscribers, and the findings from existing subscribers are a positive sign for the nation’s economy.
Over the past 12 months, 12 percent more CTOS users have seen an increase in their CTOS Scores whilst there have been no changes in the percentage of users with decreasing scores.
The CTOS Score is a 3-digit number that represents a consumer’s creditworthiness ranging from 300 to 850. It is an evaluation of an individual’s credit history and capability to repay financial obligations, with the higher the score, the higher the chances of securing credit.
“We have working diligently with roadshows, seminars and talks over the last few years since we launched the CTOS Score and are proud to see our customers’ efforts bearing fruit,” explained Dennis Martin, Group CEO of CTOS. “With increased knowledge and self-checks, it is gratifying to see significant financial improvements for CTOS subscribers, meaning more Malaysians can gain access to the credit that they want and need.”
