The federal land development Authority’s (FELDA) ten-day “A Glorious Malaysian Galore” festival is an important step in the agency’s expansion into Middle East market.

Event manager, Gemba Marketing Sdn Bhd, said Felda’s units would showcase their products here as part of the agency’s development programme for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Gulf market.

Its director, Sakinah Sheikh Osman, said the UAE, which has great reputation as a trading hub for the Gulf market, is the best place to start and offer Felda’s range of products.

Held at Mushrif Hall, the festival will showcase the products by Felda’s settlers and the agency’s units namely Delima Oils Products Sdn Bhd, Felda trading Sdn Bhd and Koperasi Permodalan Felda.

Other participants included Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia External Trade Development Corp.
