More than 1,300 delegates hailing from China, Malaysia and other countries in the ASEAN region converged at the Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa today to attend a one-day conference jointly organized by the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) and TNT Express Malaysia.
The one-day conference, titled “Malaysia-China Entrepreneur Conference (MCEC) 2012” and themed “Success and You” was graced and officiated by distinguished Guest of Honor, Y.B Senator Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Malaysia.
Delegates of the conference, comprising of government representatives, local as well as international business leaders; had the opportunity to take away entrepreneurial tips and insights from renowned key business leaders that had either led or owned companies or associations that were of huge success and impact, both locally in China and internationally.
This is the first time that a corporate sponsor, TNT Express Malaysia, partnered up with MCCC to co-organize such an event of scale and magnitude; mirroring both TNT’s and MCCC’s commitment to promote better communication, understanding and economic cooperation between Malaysia and China.
A Memorandum of Understanding to mark the thriving trade relationship and strengthening of ties between Malaysia and China was also signed by the local president of Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce president, Dato’ Bong Hon Liong and Mr Cheng Chung Hing, Vice Chairman of China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) at the event.
