Jobstreet.com’s Job Outlook Report 2013 shows Malaysian employers having a bright job outlook for the first quarter of 2013.
Jobstreet.com said that according to the report, 36 per cent of respondents expect to increase their recruiting in the next 12 months, up from 23 per cent in the first quarter last year. Among the 36 per cent who indicated their expansion plans are sales, marketing, accounting and manufacturing.
The report also said less than five per cent of the respondents acknowledged that they are not looking to hire in the foreseeable future, a drop from the nine per cent in 2012, reflecting the positive job outlook for the first quarter of 2013.
The report said that for most industries, jobseekers for sales and marketing are still the most sought after, followed by those with expertise in manufacturing, accounting and engineering.
