As cyber threats grow increasingly sophisticated, traditional manual approaches to investigating and responding to security incidents are becoming inadequate. The manual processes are not only time-consuming but also prone to human error, which is exacerbated by the rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape.
To address these challenges, modern hyper-automated Security Operations Centers (SOC) are leveraging advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to autonomously investigate alerts, prioritize threats, and optimize security operations.
Mohammad Taufik Othman, Director of DeltaSpike Asia Sdn Bhd (DeltaSpike), stated, “With the right people and processes in place, an automated security operation platform can effectively manage SOCs, enabling organizations to mitigate security threats with rapid response times, regardless of the cybersecurity products currently deployed.”
Earlier this year, DeltaSpike showcased its capabilities to CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM) and was recognized with the CyberSecurity Outreach Provider of the Year award for its significant contributions to advancing modern hyper-automated security operations.
The award was presented at the Malaysia Cyber Security Awards and Gala Dinner 2024, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in conjunction with the Cyber Digital Services, Defence, and Security Asia (CyberDSA) 2024 event.
This prestigious event honours innovators, leaders, and organizations dedicated to excellence in information security.
Upon receiving the award, Mohammad Taufik expressed his pride, saying, “We are honoured and humbled by this recognition. It is our responsibility to support national initiatives by sharing our research and expertise in security operations, and we are committed to continuing collaboration with other industry players for the greater good.”
In addition to the award, DeltaSpike signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CyberSecurity Malaysia, establishing a framework for industry collaboration and the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives.
Taufik emphasised the importance of this MoU, noting that it will enable industry players and CyberSecurity Malaysia to work together towards a common goal of creating a safer and more secure cyberspace.
DeltaSpike operates across multiple countries, with offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Australia, serving over 100 clients with tailored cybersecurity solutions and a proven track record of success.
The company is a subsidiary of the diversified Sri Lankan conglomerate LIMRA Holdings Limited and the Malaysian conglomerate Galur Unggul Sdn Bhd.
