A Treasure Trove for Stationery Lovers
The theme of this year’s advent calendar, Stationery Wonderland, is all about celebrating creativity and imagination. The design was illustrated by Sabahan artist Nelson Lip, playing into the elements of a winter wonderland with its bright colours and playful illustrations.
“I wanted to design something truly special which infused creativity and a sense of magic, offering a delightful surprise that brings joy and inspiration to the everyday. These whimsical illustrations embody the warmth and happiness of the holiday season, inviting everyone to experience the little joys that make Christmas so memorable.” said Nelson Lip, Malaysian Illustrator.
Behind each of the 24 numbered doors lies a handpicked stationery item, ranging from luxurious notebooks and pens to Christmas tree ornaments, keychains, and other surprises. Each item has been thoughtfully curated to spark joy and creativity, making every day in December a celebration of artistic expression.
A little sneak peek of the items included in this year’s advent calendar. No two calendars are alike! While the items remain consistent, each calendar features unique variations in design and colour, ensuring every stationery lover feels they’ve truly received a one-of-a-kind piece.
“We wanted to create something that goes beyond the ordinary, a product that feels personal, delightful, and indulgent. This advent calendar is our way of sharing the magic of stationery with our customers during the holiday season,” said Alvin Chen, Executive Director at CzipLee.
The CzipMas advent calendar features a mix of CzipLee’s best-selling Japanese and European stationery brands such as Ferris Wheel Press, Hightide, Midori, and Miffy, among many others to showcase customers why these brands are so well-loved.
“In line with our vision, CzipLee proudly embraces their collaboration with local artists, Lametna and pim.kl in the calendar, providing limited edition, holiday-exclusive products,” added Jason Chen, Executive Director at CzipLee.
Lametna is a local initiative which provides a space for women in the Chin refugee community to earn sustainable and stable income, additionally empowering them to break the cycle of poverty. These wonderful women have hand-crocheted various Christmas ornaments for those who purchase the CzipMas advent calendar.
pim.kl, also known as Poetry in Motion, is well-known for typewriting bespoke poems for many individuals. CzipLee’s advent calendar will feature a customised poem to embrace the festive spirit.
The advent calendar is priced at RM600, with its actual value worth RM750. This seasonal gift box is currently available for purchase on the CzipLee website and at their retail store in Bangsar Village II (BVII).
