Beverly Group has officially partnered with Parktech Solutions to introduce a state-of-the-art Automated Car Parking System (ACPS), developed by South Korean leader Samjung Tech, at Milla Residence in Quartz Wangsa Maju.

Expected to be among the largest ACPS installations in ASEAN, the system will feature 2,358 parking bays and 21 car lifts, enhancing convenience and sustainability for Milla Residence residents.

This strategic partnership was formalised during a signing ceremony at the Milla Residence Sales Gallery, attended by Derick Lim, CEO of Beverly Group; Choi Jong Wan, CEO of Samjung Tech Co Ltd; Yow Kai Yong, Managing Director of Parktech Solutions Sdn Bhd; and witnessed by Nik Nazmi Bin Nik Ahmad, Malaysia’s Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability and Setiawangsa MP, along with Jason Wong, Managing Director of Commercial Banking at Maybank.

Milla Residence is a modern, technologically advanced serviced apartment within the 16.5-acre Quartz Wangsa Maju enclave, located near the Sri Rampai LRT station and the upcoming Rejang MRT station.

Offering diverse layout options from 657 to 1,249 square feet, Milla Residence caters to a wide demographic, from young professionals to multigenerational families, with flexible two- to five-bedroom options.

The residence’s unique duplex design with double-volume ceilings not only adds aesthetic appeal but also sets a new standard for sustainable urban living. Milla Residence is equipped with advanced security features, including an automatic number-plate recognition system and cleaning robots, to ensure a safe, pristine environment for all residents.

“This collaboration between Beverly Group and Samjung Tech on the ACPS at Milla Residence is a step forward for Malaysia’s sustainability goals,” said Nik Nazmi.

“As we work toward reducing carbon emissions and advancing eco-friendly urban developments, initiatives like these showcase how technology contributes to a greener, healthier living environment. Beverly Group’s commitment to sustainable urban spaces supports our nation’s cleaner, more responsible future.”

As the first of its scale in the region, the ACPS will transform the urban parking experience by streamlining operations and lowering carbon emissions, aligning with Malaysia’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Green Building Index (GBI) objectives.

By significantly reducing the time and fuel needed for parking, the system minimises idling emissions by up to 30% and reduces land usage through its vertical design.

Derick Lim, CEO of Beverly Group, shared, “We aim not just to add value but to redefine sustainable living. Our collaboration with Samjung Tech demonstrates how advanced technology can enhance convenience while actively supporting environmental goals.”

Milla Residence also aligns with the EkoSetiawangsa initiative by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, which seeks to transform Setiawangsa into an ‘urban eco-district.’ Beverly Group’s commitment to eco-friendly urban development includes reducing the carbon footprint of traditional parking solutions, beginning with Milla Residence.

Choi Jong Wan, CEO of Samjung Tech Co Ltd, remarked, “Our role is to deliver advanced technology and ensure success from day one. Our system at Milla Residence is customized to balance modernity with reliability.

“We’ve doubled test runs to ensure flawless operations, with engineers on-site for ongoing adjustments. Our Malaysia-based Customer Satisfaction team will conduct monthly proactive inspections, offering residents complete peace of mind.”

Designed for ease of use, the ACPS allows residents and visitors to park at designated entry points, turn off the engine, and walk away, while the automated system handles vehicle storage and retrieval. This seamless experience removes the need for navigating complex parking structures, ensuring a safer, more efficient environment.

Supporting eco-friendly living, Beverly Group is working with Maybank to offer Green Home Financing for Milla Residence. Covering up to 95% of the home’s purchase price, with an additional 5% for associated costs, this financing is tailored for certified green home developments, encouraging sustainable living and eco-conscious housing investments.
