XPENG Motors, a leading Chinese smart EV company, has unveiled its latest Tianji XOS 5.2 Over-the-Air (OTA) upgrade globally on August 15. This update introduces cutting-edge Smart Cockpit and Intelligent Driving features. Powered by advanced AI technology, this OTA update enhances XPENG’s software capabilities, delivering a faster and more robust user experience.
This upgrade reflects the company’s commitment to customer-centric innovation, especially as it expands into European markets. Users are already praising XOS 5.2, with Marius from Norway, a beta tester, highlighting the new split-screen feature: “The new software update is just amazing. I particularly love the split screen, which lets you view the surrounding environment on one side while showing the car’s current charging status on the other.”

In line with its strategic goals, XPENG hosted an exclusive offline User Salon in Hillerød, Denmark, on August 13. The event brought together about 30 attendees for an interactive morning, including a showroom tour, presentations on the OTA features, and a Q&A session, followed by hands-on experiences in the afternoon that received high praise from participants.
The month-long beta testing phase yielded substantial feedback, leading to XOS 5.2 addressing 82% of the key insights from Danish customers, with ongoing improvements planned for future releases. XPENG continues to set new standards in the global intelligent electric vehicle industry, ushering in an exciting new era for its owners.
