Milieu Insight, a leading survey software firm, has unveiled significant enhancements to its product, aimed at simplifying consumer research processes and community management for brands, all within a unified platform.

Canvas Platform Updates

Initially launched at the end of last year, Canvas has continued to innovate, adding an improved visual survey builder, new panel and data integration features, and direct communication channels between brands and survey participants. With these updates, brands can now connect with and manage consumers across 150 countries globally.

The Canvas platform also boasts a suite of features for cleaning, managing, and analyzing data. Enhanced email and database cleaning capabilities ensure that surveys reach only valid email addresses, thereby improving completion rates. Additionally, its unique significance testing tool converts data into meaningful insights with a single click.

The introduction of the Canvas visual editor last year was a breakthrough for the survey industry, which has long struggled to provide a seamless user experience for survey creation. The latest iteration further expands the platform’s survey design capabilities to include more question formats, a consolidated list view with editing tools, and an improved navigation system.

Deep Consumer Insights with Portraits

Brands can now link survey results on Canvas with Milieu’s consumer profiling tool, Portraits. This integration provides access to thousands of consumer segments and millions of pre-collected data points on topics such as demographics, lifestyle, and media consumption. This feature significantly accelerates research processes and enables brands to make informed decisions based on the latest consumer insights.

Milieu Insight currently has the largest active survey panel in Southeast Asia, with over two million users. With new capabilities to generate external survey links and integrate external survey participants, brands can now reach consumers in 150 countries.

The addition of API integration and auto-punching features allows brands to connect their existing customer databases, including first-party data and social media lists, to Canvas, streamlining data collection and reducing turnaround time.

Upcoming Features

Milieu Insight is set to introduce Milieu Reports, a data visualization tool that allows clients to create charts or infographics for their reports effortlessly. Additionally, an AI survey assistant named Flash will soon be available, integrated into the visual editor to assist with survey design, providing on-demand support 24/7.

Leading companies such as ONE Championship, Lazada, Logitech, Softbank Robotics, CIMB Philippines, Yahoo, CNBC Travel, and True Corporation have already utilized Milieu’s software for valuable consumer insights.

Social and non-profit organizations like AWARE, Caregiver Alliance, and the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) have also benefited from the platform’s robust capabilities.

Since its inception in 2016, Milieu Insight has facilitated over 100 million surveys. As businesses increasingly rely on data-driven insights, Milieu Insight remains committed to simplifying research and expanding its capabilities through Canvas and Portraits.
