SEEK, operator of Asia’s premier online employment marketplaces Jobstreet and Jobsdb, has unveiled its region-wide ‘Better Matches’ brand campaign across Asia, including Malaysia. This creative initiative highlights Jobstreet’s use of world-class AI to enhance job-matching efficiency and relevance.
Following the merger of Jobstreet, Jobsdb, and SEEK’s platforms across APAC, the unified platform now leverages SEEK’s advanced AI technology while maintaining distinct brand identities.
Partnering with Talon Creative, SEEK developed a series of animated animal videos that break away from traditional professional employment visuals. These videos humorously depict animals in jobs unsuited to their natural abilities, leading to comical outcomes. This theme underscores the complexity of the job market and the need for better job-person matches.
The campaign reflects concerns from employers and job seekers about navigating the increasingly intricate job market. Jobstreet’s revamped platform promises improved access to opportunities and talent, offering more relevant and personalized job matches through AI.
This regional effort supports SEEK’s mission to connect suitable candidates with the right opportunities across Asia, crucial in Malaysia’s dynamic employment landscape. The AI-driven platform evaluates talent suitability by analyzing data from resumes, job descriptions, and employers’ hiring patterns, providing tailored recommendations for faster and more effective hiring.
Vic Sithasanan, Managing Director at Jobstreet by SEEK in Malaysia, said, “In the bustling jungle of talent and opportunity, ‘Better Matches’ humorously addresses job matching complexities, guiding employers and jobseekers to their perfect fit with AI as our compass.”
The campaign will be featured across social media, addressable TV, outdoor pillars, and Jobstreet by SEEK-owned channels. The TS Law Tower in Kuala Lumpur prominently displays the campaign, reinforcing SEEK’s dedication to quality job matches. The campaign is also live in other SEEK markets.
