Vietjet has announced a strategic expansion into Cambodia and Laos, aligning with the momentous trilateral agreement to boost solidarity and strengthen the alliance between these three nations: Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
In a tangible display of support for this significant accord, Vietjet is thrilled to announce inaugural flights connecting Vietnam’s capital city, Hanoi, to Siem Reap in Cambodia on December 16. The airline will also launch its debut flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Vientiane, the capital of Laos, early next year.
These new routes are set to play a pivotal role in realising the action plan that envisions heightened connectivity between the three economies by 2030. Vietjet is excited to be at the forefront of facilitating this vision, contributing to regional development and fostering closer ties between the people of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
The Siem Reap – Hanoi route will operate seven return flights per week, with a flight time of 1 hour and 45 minutes per leg, facilitating travel to top destinations in Southeast Asia. Global travellers can now easily access the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor Wat, one of the world’s most iconic and significant archaeological sites, and explore Hanoi’s historic buildings and oriental charm.
Vietjet will soon offer flight service for the Ho Chi Minh City – Vientiane route, starting operations on 25 February 2024. The four-weekly service is scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a flight time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. This new route allows travellers to explore the capital of Laos, renowned for its architectural landmarks, temples, pagodas, local festivals, and unique cuisine.
Travel enthusiasts can also enjoy their time in Vietnam’s largest city, where bustling streets, a unique blend of historical and contemporary elements, and culinary delights are sure to leave a lasting impression on visitors.
