Alibaba Cloud Innovation Centre has joined hands with Fidelity Funding to organise the Alibaba Cloud Demo Day 2021.
Fidelity Funding and other brands such as ATM Capital, Capital Nuts and Ficus Venture will form the judging panel for the programme which is anticipated to bring together over 500+ Malaysian startups.
Fidelity said in a statement the event was set to transform the traditional businesses and encourage companies to embrace the latest technologies by taking advantage of current resources. The series will also look to nurture the next generation of fresh talent.
These series of contests are expected to create an innovative wave in the region bringing about solutions such as 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Internet of Things, AR/VR, drones, smart community, smart logistics, connected vehicles, smart medical care, smart city, smart energy, and the smart grid for the startup scene here in Malaysia.

Commencing from the 23 October 2021 to 26 March 2022, the Alibaba Cloud Demo Day is organised by Handsprofit, Alibaba Cloud’s local partner and co-organised by Big Wheel. The event will also include the launching of the Alibaba Cloud Global Startup Accelerator, where Malaysian startups will have the opportunity to be selected for the Global Startup Accelerator Programme and be part of Alibaba Cloud’s global ecosystem.
Fidelity Funding is a boutique fund under eatcosys that aims to accelerate the growth of businesses and provide digital enabled value creation for the food and beverage industry and retail scene here in Malaysia.
