From Level 1, Plaza Damansara to Level 19, Menara 1MK, Mont Kiara, Dentsu Utama’s recent move into their modern 11,000 square feet high-rise office caters to the agency’s steady growth and expansion driven by their mantra “Creativity or Nothing”, in which creativity permeate the organisation.

From the initial ATL and BTL offerings, the agency now provides a comprehensive suite of communication services including Market Research and Strategic Planning, Creative Development, Digital and New Platform, Sales Promotion/Event Production, Media Planning/Buying and Content Marketing.  “Our holistic approach means that clients can now enjoy our truly integrated marketing communication solutions,” said Omar Shaari, CEO of Dentsu Utama.

“Our strategic and integrated creative competency is driven by our unique philosophy, ‘Creativity that works well and does good’, that is, the ability to provide solutions that not only meet our client’s business needs but also serve the good of society and community,”  said Hideo Katakura, Vice President of Dentsu Utama.

“This is why ‘Creativity or Nothing’ must be inculcated into the DNA of each employee in the organisation, and not just our creative team. This also builds our strengths in entrepreneurial thinking as well as boosts the level of service to our clients.

To inspire creativity throughout the organisation, Executive Creative Director Hisham Sahudin said that the new office was designed around the concept of ‘flux’ with long walkways and workstations arranged in long, continuous rows. “We are forced to take longer walks to get somewhere and when we do, we will inevitably bump into co-workers or our bosses.  The main purpose is to create ‘incidental conversations’ because these are the best moments to spark ideas.”

Omar stressed that the new office is dedicated to their staff.  “Here, they benefit from convenience, availability of food, parking and security, and accessibility and proximity to clients.  We hope that the move to this new office is motivation for them to enjoy work life”

“Now that we’ve settled in, moving forward, we aim to retain and grow existing business, and also to attract and retain new clients and talents,” said Omar.
